Why IPN and Talking Points

Why IPN?

#1 – The IPN system of public/public-private project delivery amends, enhances, and directly aligns your existing system to a community’s contextualized needs. The IPN system bundles capital, circulates capital, and the knowledge generated from development projects in ways that improve balances sheets and development processes creating a highly adaptive project delivery system designed to tackle the complex changes we are currently facing.

#2 – Adding IPN systems expands your capabilities to deliver a long list of projects and shift people from contesting project to participating in projects as an invested public – from contested to invested. IPN systems adoption allows governments and their partners to adapt their existing public works project load to meet today’s long list of delivery upgrades, new technology extensions, and shifting climate weather patterns.

IPN Talking Points

  • IPN is about creating an “Invested Public” community with residents participating directly in the health and wealth building projects their community needs.

  • The IPN system is specifically designed to circulate increasing amounts of capital and knowledge locally. Generating more and better wealth building among all income levels within the community.

  • The IPN system is designed to specifically support governments and their partners.

  • Through the IPN systems’ processes, tools, and features residents become an “invested public” through direct participation in the projects needed thereby reducing the contestedness we see today with moving projects forward to delivery.

  • All residents and non-residents can invest directly in the project no matter their income or wealth level. This means that residents not only get the benefit of the project itself and all of what that project provides: housing, water, sewer, energy, ecological restorations, etc. They get to participate in the financial returns these projects are designed to create.

  • The IPN System can be integrated into the existing RFI, RFQ, RFP processes that governments use to procure projects.

  • Once the local government implements the IPN system. Project developers (for-profits and non-profits) can use the IPN system to gain support for projects and trouble shoot these projects with the residents of the community before going through the unsolicited project process.

  • The IPN system can be used to finance both projects and programs. Using the IPN Continuity Financing method governments and their partners can raise the appropriate capital needed for project delivery. Clients can also raise capital in phases that match their needs for the project and/or program strategy of delivery, thereby not having to take on excess capital at additional costs.

  • IPN has a low/mid income asset building program that can be utilized to help build their assets and move low/mid income families out of hand-to-mouth, difficult financial situations.

  • We believe that implementing the IPN system in your community creates an attractive pull of young people who are interested in deploying their extensive capital (both inherited - $90 trillion and earned - $$$) in ways that generate stronger community ties with economic, social and environmental returns that are in balance and aligned to their community’s needs.
